Coach Education:
LISA is pleased to offer all 4 On-Field Practical Grassroots Coaching Courses at no cost!
Active Start – Saturday – September 12th, 9:00am at Braefoot Park
- For coaches of U4-U6 Players – 2 hour Practical On-Field Workshop

Learn to Train – Saturday – September 12th, 12:00pm at Braefoot Park
- For coaches of: Boys U9-U12 and Girls U8-U11 – 4-hour Practical On-Field Workshop

FUNdamentals – Sunday – September 13th, 9:00am at Braefoot Park
- For coaches of: Boys U6-U9 and Girls U6-U8 – 3-hour Practical On-Field Workshop

- For coaches of: Boys U13+ and Girls U12+ – 4-hour Practical On-Field Workshop

*Important*
Canada Soccer Grassroots Coach Education consists of two components, the online theory pre-requisite and the on-field practical workshop. LISA is providing free access to the on-field practical workshops only.
All Coaches must complete the online pre-requisite component 7-10 days in advance of the on-field workshops to ensure the pre-requisite credit can be applied to your Coach Centre account.
How to Register:
1. Create a Coach Centre account by clicking here. If you already have one, please proceed to step 2.
2. Then register for the corresponding online theory (Active Start, Fundamentals, Learn to Train, or Soccer for Life) by clicking here. You must* use the same Coach Centre full name and email address when you register for the online course.
3. It will take 7-10 days* from when you complete the online theory course for the credit to be applied to your Coach Centre account and only then can you register for the on-field practical workshop (PART 2) using the above “Coach Centre Access Code” to complete your full certification level by clicking here. So please do this well in advance!
Referee Education:
Small Sided – Saturday – September 12th, 9:00am at Blue Heron Park
- The entry point of officiating Small Sided soccer. Once individuals are successful in passing this course, they may officiate in any matches up to U13 and/or Small Sided matches
- Must be 12 Years Old On Or Before Dec 31 Of Current Year
Entry Level – Sunday – September 13th, 9:00am at Blue Heron Park
- The entry point of officiating 11-aside soccer. Topics covered include: Laws Of the Game, Positioning, Signals, Administration Of The Game, Preparation, & Match Reporting
- Must be 14 Years Old On Or Before Dec 31 Of Current Year
Referee Refresher Course – Sunday – September 13th, 6:00pm at Hampton Park
- As a component of the Registration process to renew your Referee license, every official, with the exception of Small Sided (Grade 1) Referees, must attend an Annual Referee Refresher
