Beginning in the 2026/27 season, all soccer clubs across Canada, including every club on the Lower Island,will be implementing the Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards for players U4 through U13.
This is not a local initiative.
This is a Canada-wide commitment to player development led by Canada Soccer and implemented across the country through provincial and district associations. This national alignment aims to improve long-term development rather than early results.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue sharing information to help families understand what these standards look like in practice.
