Please find attached Schedule, Field Layout, and Parking Map for the upcoming LISA U10-U11 Grassroots Festival hosted by Juan de Fuca!
Your games will be played at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre Fields, 1767 Island Hwy, in Colwood. Juan de Fuca Field’s #1, #2, and #3 are natural grass. Please review the attached schedule carefully. There are 122 teams participating.
Format:
- All teams will participate in two matches on either Saturday, September 26th, or Sunday, September 27th
- Matches are 2 x 25 minute halves
- Match format is 7 vs. 7 (including a keeper)
To remain on schedule all matches may be shortened to end before the top of the hour. Please be respectful of all participants and be prepared to start your game on time. If a match official is not appointed for your match please have a coach or parent step in!
Team coaches and managers are to check in at the LISA administration table to pick up their T-shirts packages. There will be LISA representatives at the festival all day should you have any questions for them.
There will be a first aid attendant and food trucks on site. The West Shore Parks and Recreation fields are dog free. You will be asked to remove your dog from the premises (please share this info with your teams and families!)
This is not a competitive tournament. There are no trophies to be won and no standings will be recorded. Do your best to make it a fun and enjoyable time for everyone, including the match officials and volunteers.
