Stuart joined Lower Island Soccer Association in 2017 and became the Executive Director in July 2019.

Growing up in Sidney, Stuart played his youth soccer for Peninsula, leading his U16 and U18 Gold teams to Provincial titles.  Graduating to the VISL Stuart played the better part of the last 9 seasons with Vic West FC in Division 1.  Long term health problems put an end to his playing career but Stuart continued to be involved with the game as he transitioned into coaching and administrative role.

Off the field Stuart focused his education and career goals on all things sport related.  Stuart has a Bachelor Degree in Sport and Fitness Leadership specializing in Sport Management from Camosun College.  Having interned and worked with the PDL Victoria Highlanders Stuart is no stranger to the inner workings of a soccer organization.  Aside from soccer Stuart is an avid traveller, average golfer, and outdoor enthusiast.
